Our Principal, Ashimedua Okonkwo Esq aka Meddy, has an LLB(Hons) degree in Law from London Guildhall University Moorgate, United Kingdom and a Postgraduate Diploma In Legal Practice (LPC) from the same University.
London Guildhall University is now known as the London Metropolitan University (London met) after merging with University of North London. She has a Master’s degree in Law (LLM) from Trinity College Dublin and a Postgraduate Certificate in Teaching and Assessment from Dublin Institute of Technology. Ashimedua is originally from Nigeria but has lived in Drogheda since 2001. Her inspiration to study law came from her father Cyril Okonkwo who was called to the Inns of Courts in the United Kingdom as a Barrister in the early 1960's. He was one of the first Chief Magistrates in Nigeria to implement the rule of law in the Eastern Nigerian Courts after the Biafra Civil war in Nigeria. Ashimedua is a member of the American Bar Association, New York State Bar Association, The Law Society of Ireland and International Criminal Court Bar Association.
Our Principal, Ashimedua is highly experienced in the various areas laws of the Republic of Ireland, United Kingdom and New York in the United States. She is also highly experienced in the areas of Criminal Law, Human Rights Law, Family Law, Employment Law, Civil Litigation, Personal Injury, Residential and Commercial Conveyancy, and Residential Landlord and Tenant. She has worked on a pro bono basis for clients on Immigration Appeals Tribunals, Employment Tribunals and Labour Courts in Ireland.
Ashimedua is a New York State Attorney and Counselor at Law and a Solicitor in Ireland. She is very diverse and has experience in practicing English Law, New York State and Federal Laws in the United States and Irish Law which in turn attracts clients from various nationalities and locations across Ireland, United Kingdom and the United States.
